Alongside Families Host Families temporarily welcome children into their homes while a parent gets back on their feet. The average length of a child hosting? Just 1-2 weeks. The impact? Eternal.

Make Room is a gathering created for you to learn about serving as an Alongside Families Host Family. Join us for a no-pressure time of stories, information, and vision for every lonely family in our city to find community through the Body of Christ.

Right now, somewhere in our city, a child is at risk of entering the foster care system simply because their parent is facing a crisis without support.

It doesn’t have to be this way if families like yours will open their homes. You can impact a family forever by taking in a child for a few days, weeks, or months.

Host Family volunteers temporarily care for children while a parent facing hospitalization, homelessness, or other challenging times gets back on their feet. They also build relationships with the child's parent(s).

Host Families serve through their church's Alongside Families ministry. If your church is not yet an Alongside Families Partner Church, we can help you change that! We are eager for more local, gospel-centered partner churches!
