Alongside Families exists to connect isolated families to local church communities that champion family preservation and thriving.
When a parent who is isolated faces a crisis such as hospitalization, their child may enter the foster care system simply because the family lacks a safety net of support during a tough time.
A proven church-led, volunteer-driven, professionally-supported model that provides a dignifying way for parents to ask for and get help before abuse or neglect ever occurs.
We provide temporary care for children and supportive relationships for parents to prevent families from unnecessarily entering the foster care system. We offer safe, loving homes with volunteer Host Families in partner churches where parents can have their children cared for short-term, without the fear of losing custody.
