We are thrilled to have Shannon Joyner join our Charlotte staff team as our Operations Manager! Shannon will ensure that Alongside Families runs smoothly behind the scenes. She'll make sure that our processes and operations run effectively and efficiently so our staff team and volunteers can spend their time caring for and directly supporting families.
Here's an introduction from Shannon to all of you in our Alongside Families family!
"Hi everyone! I graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Marketing and International Business and have an MBA from East Carolina University. I have spent over 20 years in the business world and bring my experience and knowledge in that area to Alongside Families.
I grew up in Pittsburgh and now live in the Lake Norman area with my husband, two children, and two dogs. My family and I attend Journey Church in Huntersville and are excited to help our church as it begins serving with Alongside Families. My family has always been at the heart of everything I do, and this drives my passion for preserving other families in the Charlotte area.
When not watching my children play sports and other activities, I like to spend time with friends and family, and be outside enjoying the North Carolina sunshine."
